Pathways

How clients usually move from question to decision

A service-model map for employment consulting in Germany — not a promise of timelines, but the sequence most public-sector and nonprofit clients follow with us.

Four stages we see repeatedly

Use this as a orientation guide. Your consultation may begin mid-sequence if you already hold a shortlist invitation.

01

Orient

Clarify whether you are aiming at Kommunalverwaltung, Landesbehörde, federal agency, or a nonprofit Trägerschaft. Name hard constraints: Dienstort, hours, German language comfort, and family mobility.

02

Match

Read Stellenausschreibungen for Muss-requirements and Entgelt- or Besoldungsgruppen. Decide whether Tarifbeschäftigung or Beamtenlaufbahn is even open before investing in documents.

03

Evidence

Shape Lebenslauf and Anschreiben around Zuständigkeiten and Nachweise. Book document review when drafts exist; skip ghostwritten claims that collapse in a panel.

04

Room readiness

Practise for Vorstellungsgespräche, assessment tasks, and questions from Personalrat or Schwerbehindertenvertretung. For leadership seats, plan the first ninety days against funding calendars.

Where consultations sit on the path

The flagship Public-Sector Career Consultation usually belongs in Orient and Match. Document review and interview preparation belong in Evidence and Room readiness. Nonprofit leadership advisory spans Match through Room readiness when a Geschäftsführung or program seat is already in view.

If you are unsure where you stand, write to us with one paragraph on your current role and target field — we will suggest a starting consultation rather than a bundled package you do not need.
